Put on our Happy smile!

I worked with Lynne whilst she was working at Burford School. She was the fount of all thing SEN. What she didn't know could be written on a postage stamp.
I was told that Lynne would help me out getting the best out of a child I was woeking with. There was nothing She wouldn't do to help.

Always there with a listening ear, if a lesson hadn't gone particularly well, or if things at home seemed tough, I knew I could always talk to Lynne.

If things were rough and somebody had gotten her down, she would say " I shall put on my Mrs Pullinger smile and grin and bear it" she would then pull herslef up and slap on her smile and go off and find her charge.

More than that she was a friend. I loved getting her emails once she had retired. full of news of her family -who she was so proud of! I think I have seen all the baby photos of the grandchildren.
She would always ask after my children -the eldest was lucky enough to have been supported by Lynne when she was in Year 5.
I will miss her care, compassion, knowledge of all things SEN and her friendship.
